Danielle L. Rose is an experienced attorney whose practice focuses on complex commercial and securities litigation, including shareholder class and derivative action defense, as well as government regulatory defense.
Recent Engagements:
Ms. Rose's complex civil litigation experience includes:
- Defense of a Fortune 500 company in a parallel securities class action and shareholder derivative lawsuit
- Defense of a purported derivative and class action related to the sale and dissolution of a beverage company
- Defense of a former large law firm name partner in multiple civil litigations
- Representation of a commodity futures trading firm in connection with litigation against several clearing houses and futures and options merchants relating to over US $100 million of disputed trades on the InterContinental Exchange
- Representation of a major hedge fund in connection with potential litigation over US $70 million wrongfully held by an investment bank
- Advice to a major Non-Governmental Organization relating to international litigation issues arising out of a corruption prosecution in Europe and the United Kingdom
- Defense of civil RICO and other fraud claims against an investment capital fund
Ms. Rose’s government enforcement defense experience includes:
- Representation at trial of a former securities broker dealer in a criminal prosecution by the U.S. Department of Justice for securities and wire fraud
- Representation of a U.S. Department of Justice Assistant U.S. Attorney in connection with a Special Prosecutor’s criminal contempt investigation
- Representation of a senior executive in connection with a Securities & Exchange Commission enforcement action
- Representation of a financial services entity in connection with a Securities & Exchange Commission enforcement action

Prior to joining Kobre & Kim LLP, Ms. Rose practiced at Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz, where she worked on complex commercial and securities litigation, including M&A matters, as well as government regulatory defense.
After law school, Ms. Rose clerked for the Honorable Leonard B. Sand of the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York.
