Recent Engagements:

  • Representation of the Chief Financial Officer of a financial institution in connection with a federal, criminal tax shelter investigation
  • Representation of a securities professional accused in a highly-publicized criminal case, as well as in parallel proceedings before the Securities & Exchange Commission, involving alleged violation of the federal insider trading laws
  • Representation of an individual criminally accused of participating in a $100 million conspiracy to defraud in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York
  • Representation of a private client in connection with a criminal investigation stemming from the prosecution and conviction of a former Congressman for bribery
  • Representation of a former executive of a large, publicly-traded specialty chemicals company in connection with investigations by the U.S. Department of Justice and European Commission of alleged price-fixing in violation of American and European antitrust laws
  • Representation of multiple insurance and reinsurance industry executives in connection with investigations conducted by the New York State Attorney General's Office, the U.S. Department of Justice, and the Securities & Exchange Commission into alleged accounting fraud and bid-rigging
