Katharine E. Marshall focuses her practice on complex civil litigation and government enforcement matters in the financial services and health care industries.
Recent Engagements:
- Representation of a large South American commodities exporter in connection with disputes against various U.S. and European clearing houses relating to futures trading on the InterContinental Exchange
- Representation of a health care provider in connection with a Federal Bureau of Investigation inquiry relating to Medicare and insurance billing issues
- Representation of an executive in a pharmaceutical company in connection with a Department of Justice investigation into Prescription Drug Marketing Act issues
- Representation of Arthur Andersen in various Enron-related actions, including bankruptcy, shareholder class actions and SEC investigation
- Representation of Marsh & McLennan Companies executives in New York State Attorney General's investigation into fraudulent practices in the insurance industry

Prior to joining Kobre & Kim LLP, Ms. Marshall practiced at Latham & Watkins LLP, where she had a broad-based litigation practice representing private and institutional clients in civil, criminal and regulatory actions.
After law school, Ms. Marshall clerked for the Honorable Charles P. Sifton of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York.
