Recent Engagements:
- Representation of an individual in connection with an indictment of principals for a commodities and derivatives trading firm, based on an agreement to receive a portion of profits from the buyout of the company
- Representation of the owner of a real estate development, investment, and management firm in a criminal investigation relating to various alleged misrepresentations in loan applications in connection with several commercial banks
- Representation of a major New York-based capital firm in connection with a potential asset tracing and recovery effort in connection with an ailing real estate project in Long Island
- Defense against a US $400 million+ asset forfeiture claim by the U.S. Department of Justice arising out of a commodities and derivatives trading firm subject to government enforcement and regulatory proceedings for alleged improper profit sharing activities
- Representation of a former CEO of a large industrial company in Eastern Europe in connection with a criminal prosecution arising out of a fire at the company

Prior to joining Kobre & Kim LLP, Mr. McCulloch practiced at Davis Polk & Wardwell representing clients in securities litigation, international accounting fraud matters and Foreign Corrupt Practices Act cases.
After law school, Mr. McCulloch clerked for the Honorable Lawrence M. McKenna of the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York.
