Zaharah R. Markoe focuses in the areas of government enforcement defense and internal investigations, with particular emphasis on securities-related litigation and investment manager and broker-dealer regulation. Ms. Markoe also practices complex civil litigation, focusing on appellate advocacy.

- Representation of an investment banking group of a large investment bank in multi-million dollar federal lawsuit involving alleged theft of trade secrets and confidential information
- Representation of a Hong Kong corporation in an appeal of a matter relating to a banking dispute under the Uniform Commercial Code

Prior to joining Kobre & Kim LLP, Ms. Markoe served as an Assistant District Attorney in the Bronx County District Attorney's Office, where she focused on criminal appeals involving a wide variety of subject matters.
