Whistleblower Representation

Former Prosecutors who understand what starts a Government Investigation. We know what is effective in persuading government officials to investigate because we were those officials. Our lawyers include five former federal prosecutors, including former members of the U.S. Department of Justice's Securities & Commodities Fraud Task Force, a former Chief of the Criminal Division and a former Deputy Assistant Attorney General. Three of our attorneys are also former Manhattan Assistant District Attorneys with extensive experience in state investigations.

Reporting Competitors to Authorities. Our firm focuses its whistleblower practice primarily on reporting complex financial regulatory violations of companies who compete unfairly and illegally. In a number of our cases, the information furnished by our lawyers to authorities have led to significant investigations and legal actions against our client's competitors by the U.S. Department of Justice, Securities & Exchange Commission, Commodity Futures Trading Commission, NASDAQ, FINRA, the Federal Trade Commission, and the New York State Attorney General's Office, among other agencies.

Navigating the Complex Scheme of Rewards and Protection for Whistleblowers. We maintain a comprehensive database of significant reward and protection programs administered by federal and state government for providing information of assistance to law enforcement, including qui tam or False Claims Act rewards from state and federal authorities, asset forfeiture sharing programs from the U.S. Department of Justice, witness protection programs administered by the U.S. Marshals Service, immigration relief programs from the Department of Homeland Security, bounty programs from the Securities & Exchange Commission for reporting insider trading of securities, Sarbanes-Oxley whistleblower protection regimes, and informant reward programs operated by various agencies, including the FBI, IRS, and Federal Trade Commission, among others.
