Kobre & Kim Expands Conflict-Free London/Offshore Disputes Team

Kobre & Kim is pleased to welcome Andrew Stafford KC, who joins James Corbett KC(formerly of Serle Court) and Jalil Asif KC(formerly of 4 New Square), as the firm’s third English King's Counsel.  

Mr. Stafford KC, formerly of Littleton Chambers, is a highly respected senior advocate with substantial commercial litigation experience in the High Court. In particular, his work focuses on injunctive work, breach of fiduciary duties and covenants, misuse of trade secrets and confidential information within the financial services industry, as well as pension and complex employment related disputes.

In addition, the firm’s London office now houses four former U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) lawyers with the recent addition of Roger Burlingame. Mr. Burlingame, who joined the firm in June, previously served as the chief of the Public Integrity Section and senior trial counsel in the Business and Securities Fraud Section of the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York.
